CashLess from Barclays

Global banking company Barclays recently launched an interesting “cashless” Christmas campaign with Barclaycard, featuring singers from the London Community Gospel Choir serenading passers-by in Covent Garden and accepting only contactless card payments as donations. Each Christmas shopper in the vicinity was given prepaid Barclays and Barclaycard contactless cards, and each £5 sent from the cards through the payment system was donated to the Help a Capital Child fund. The unique campaign, generated about £2,500 in revenue.
